What degree should I get?

I just did a test that is suppose to tell you what advanced degree is the best for you. The result is not very surprising:

You Should
Get a PhD in
Science
(like chemistry, math,
or engineering)

You're both smart and innovative when it comes to ideas.

Maybe you'll find a cure for cancer - or develop the latest underground drug.

A lot of bloggers whose blogs I read did this test, and we all got the same result. This is suspicious, so the test quality is doubtful (besides, it is a very short test). However, this is a fun thing to talk about...

Hi,

I did this twice because I couldn't decide between the options on one question. The first time I did it, I was told that "I Should Get a MFA (Masters of Fine Arts)" and that I'm a "blooming artistic talent, even if you aren't quite convinced.
You'd make an incredible artist, photographer, or film maker."

On my second attempt, I got the same as you!

Hello Beans,
Great to hear you got the same result. Who knows, perhaps one day both of us will get a phd in math...

Hi,

Although that sounds pretty cool (getting a PhD in maths) I will be lucky if I get to do four years!

Well, there is always a place for hope...

In Israel B.S in math takes only 3 years (officially). Does it take 4 in the UK?
I remember hearing somewhere that it is possible to start M.S. in U.K after the third year...

In the UK a BSc takes 3 years, after which you can choose to do a MSc as a postgraduate course.

However, due to the funding issues, you can do a MMaths (masters) as s four year undergraduate course.
